What it is
MyPhysicianPlan sells health plans for U.S. residents, small businesses, international visitors and international students. Every plan is built around access to a primary care physician, with unlimited primary care visits and year-round online enrollment. Some plans also include specialist, ER, urgent and hospital care, and visitor and student plans use the UnitedHealthcare PPO network.
Where it fits for GLP-1s
MyPhysicianPlan is not a weight-loss program and does not advertise GLP-1 treatment. We list it because some people prefer to have their own primary care doctor assess them rather than use a weight-loss telehealth app.
- Assessment: a plan physician can review your health history and weight-related conditions.
- Labs: plans include lab tests, which some prescribers want before starting a GLP-1.
- Prescription: whether a GLP-1 or any other medication is prescribed is the physician's decision. We could not confirm that plan doctors prescribe GLP-1s for weight management.

Will a MyPhysicianPlan doctor prescribe Wegovy or Zepbound?
