How ordering works
- A clinician sends a prescription to LillyDirect Pharmacy or NovoCare Pharmacy (or your pharmacy transfers it).
- The pharmacy contacts you to set up an account and take payment.
- Medication ships to you, usually with free delivery.
Self-pay purchases generally don't count toward an insurance deductible. If your commercial plan covers these drugs, the manufacturers' savings cards can bring costs down to as little as $25 a month; government plans are excluded from those cards.
Do you need a telehealth provider?
Only if you don't already have a clinician who will prescribe. Several telehealth programs, including Ro, can send prescriptions to these pharmacies. Compare providers.
