Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality, and in April 2026 it proposed blocking large-scale compounding of semaglutide and tirzepatide. What that means.

Price: headline vs all-in
BiltRx has the lower headline price, but consultation and shipping are added at checkout and the amounts aren't listed on its product pages. Henry Meds quotes one monthly price. To compare fairly, check the full checkout total for the same medication and dose on both sites.
Tablets and other programs
BiltRx also offers compounded tirzepatide tablets that dissolve on the tongue, from $699 a month. There is no published clinical trial data for compounded tirzepatide tablets; tirzepatide's trial results come from the weekly injection. BiltRx also runs hormone and peptide programs. Availability and suitability of any of these depend on a licensed clinician's assessment.
Which may be worth comparing?
- BiltRx may be worth comparing if the lowest advertised starting price matters most and you want the option of brand-name drugs from the same provider.
- Henry Meds may be worth comparing if you prefer one all-in monthly price.
